You may initially try out a number of different dog training methods but once you start doing it more often you will start to realize which one seems to be working out well. Dog Obedience training sessions aim to train your dog in learning good behavior and manners. This can be done at first with just you, the owner, and your dog. You can start out with a few snack treats, a dog clicker box, food and water bowls for your dog, dog food and water as well as other playthings for your dog.

Work out a schedule. During the time of the day your dog needs to eat for the first time during the day, assign a clicking noise to a word or phrase of your choice using the dog clicker box.

Put some food and water in your dogs food and water bowls. Then, ask your dog to go to the area where he can eat.

Afterwards, shout out the word or phrase you assigned to a particular clicking noise on the dog clicker box. Then, make the box produce the clicking noise. At this point, you can point out to your dog that theres food and water in his bowls.

After eating, pet your dog and give him a few nice snack treats. Dont force him to eat the treats if he doesnt want it. After all, he just ate, remember?

You can then give your dog some playthings to keep him busy. You can also play with your dog for some exercise.

After a few hours, in comes another type of dog training. Thats right: here comes the part where you need to train your dog in relieving himself.

For this training session, a few pee pads will come handy as well as the bowl he uses to poo. Place the pee pads and poo bowl in the places where you want him to relieve himself.

You can wait for him to feel relaxed until he needs to relieve himself. When you notice that hes ready, carry him to the areas where you placed the pee pads and the bowl. A clicker box is ill advised to be used for this training session since it may force him to relieve himself when he doesnt need to once he gets used to it.
